Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of sociodrama for smoking cessation of the middle school boys. Researchers conducted sociodrama program for smoking cessation with students who were found using nicotine from the urine test in Chungnam Province. 24 students out of 45 students agreed to attend the program, which was a 3-weekly program from September till November 2014. Data were analyzed by Mann-Whitney U Test using SPSS 21.0. As a result, their smoking decisional balance and behavior change increased. It is suggested that sociodrama program for smoking cessation of middle school students be used as a smoking intervention program for the future.
